Where this started

I spent 15 years at Macquarie, working across finance, credit, and AI technology. I saw firsthand what these tools could do when applied properly. I also saw how often they got bolted onto existing businesses as an afterthought. A shiny new feature jammed into a model that was never designed for it.

When Jack and I started Trimark, we made a deliberate choice. We wouldn’t build a traditional brokerage and then add technology later. We’d design the entire business from the ground up with modern tools at the centre.

No legacy CRM. No legacy file systems. No legacy ways of thinking.

What that means for you

You’ll probably never think about any of it. That’s the point.

Why we keep it quiet

There’s a kind of irony in what we’re doing. We’ve built a business with AI at its very heart, and we don’t talk about it in our marketing. We don’t call ourselves “AI-powered.” We don’t put it in the tagline.

Because in a world saturated with artificial content, the most valuable thing we can offer is something no AI ever will. A real human who actually listens and gives a damn.

The best technology disappears into the experience. You don’t think about the engine in your car every time you drive to work. You just expect it to get you there reliably. That’s what good tools do. They get out of the way.
